Editorial policy

This page explains how we produce the content on this website. We publish it because you deserve to know who wrote what you are reading, who reviewed it, and what we do when we get something wrong.

Who writes

  • Ryan Duy Hùng — native American speaker, MBA, University of Hawaii, 15+ years teaching Vietnamese learners. Covers pronunciation, business English and methodology.
  • Esther Huyền Trang — 16+ years teaching English, IELTS and Montessori specialist. Covers learning paths, pedagogy and curriculum.

Every article names its author at the top and links to a full professional profile.

Review process

  1. Drafting — written from direct teaching experience and real student situations.
  2. Expert review — a second qualified person checks linguistic and methodological accuracy. The reviewer is named at the end of the article.
  3. Source verification — statistics, research or factual claims must cite a public source, listed under "Sources".
  4. Scheduled review — articles are revisited at least every 12 months. The last update date appears at the top.

What we will never do

  • No miracle promises. We do not write "native fluency in three months" or any claim we do not believe ourselves.
  • No invented statistics. Where no verifiable source exists, we say clearly that it is an observation from teaching, not research.
  • No fabricated student stories. Every example is real and used with consent; identifying details may be changed to protect privacy.
  • No unreviewed machine-generated content. We use tools to assist drafting, but every article is reviewed, edited and signed off by a qualified person before publication.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct the article and update the revision date. If the error changed the meaning materially, we note what was corrected inside the article rather than quietly deleting it.

Found an error? Email hello@ryanduyhung.com. We read everything.
